The Barbarian King Painter, Photoshop December 2007
This actually started out as a face study, with the character being a monk.
During the painting process I began making changes such as removing his monk hood, replacing it with long stringy hair, added a scar, tossed in some armor, added the metal band on his head, etc.
This was the final result.
